Everyone,

On behalf of the Los Padres National Forest, I would like to invite you to the

2010 Volunteer Wilderness Ranger and Volunteer Wrangler Leader Training

Date:                 January 23, 2010

Time:                 8:00 - 3:00

Where:               Los Prietos Compound

Directions:         Take 154 to Paradise Road.
                         Drive down Paradise Road and turn left at Ranger Station.
                         Continue past the ranger station down to the forest service compound area. Park outside the gate.          

What to bring:      Dress appropriate for the weather,  The training will be inside and outside.

                          A beach chair for outside seating

                          Lunch

Project:            Little Pine Springs Trail Maintenance

Dates:             January 23 - 24    (LEAVE AFTER THE TRAINING!!!)

Description:     Plan is to leave after the VWR Training

                      Car camp up at Happy Hallow.  Weather and Road condition permitting

                      Work the trail from Happy Hollow down to Little Pine Spring Camp

                      And / Or

                      Work the on a slide from Little Pine down towards Upper Oso. 

Bring:              Camping Gear

                       Warm cloths

                       Water

                       Potluck dinner

                       Tools if you
